Ingredients

1 cup basmati rice (soaked in advance)
1 cup sweet kernel corns
1 yellow lemon
3-4 sticks spring onions diced
1 tbsp butter
3-4 pods garlic (minced)
2-3 tbsp italian herb seasoning
1 tbsp chilli flakes
1 can veg broth
1 tbsp sea-salt
1 tbsp crushed peppercorns

Steps

  1. 1. Parboil the rice and cook until 80percent done.

  2. 2. Put a tbsp of butter and blanch the garlic with spring onions,corn and mix the seasonings with salt and pepper and add on the rice.mix well

  3. 3. Add the broth at this stage and squeeze a quarter lemon with sea salt and cover and cook in low flame till rice is fully done.
