Asian Style Cajun Seafood Boil for Two

Cajun Seafood is amazing. But do you know what’s even better? Make it Asian!

We’re going to use some enoki mushrooms and variety fish balls, the kind you use for hot pot!

Ingredients

 2 people

1 potato, cut into bite size pieces

1 corn, cut into 4cm slices

1 lemon, cut into wedges

250 gr mussels

150 gr prawns

150 gr enoki mushroom

10 pieces variety fish balls

Butter Sauce

100 gr unsalted butter

2 heads garlic, peeled and minced

Seafood Seasoning

2 tbsp. paprika

2 tbsp. garlic powder

2 tbsp. oregano or Italian herbs

1 tbsp. kosher salt

1 tbsp. onion powder

1 tbsp. freshly ground black pepper

1 tsp. cayenne pepper

2 tbsp. sugar

Garnish

1 scallion, chopped

Steps

1. 1. Rinse the prawns and mussels. Use a pair of scissors to cut off the prawn mustache and legs. Debeard mussels.

2. 2. Combine all the ingredients of the seafood seasoning in a bowl.

3. 3. Fill a large pot halfway with water and bring to a boil. Add potatoes and corns. Cook for 5 minutes. Add lemon wedges, prawns, mussels, enoki mushrooms and fish balls. Cook for 5 minutes. Drain and discard lemon.

4. 4. In a big skillet over medium heat, add butter. Once butter is melted, stir in the minced garlic. Cook for 3 minutes.

5. 5. Add the seafood seasoning. Stir to mix. Add 1/2 cup of water. Turn off the heat.

6. 6. Transfer the seafood into the sauce. Stir to mix.
7. 

   7. Add chopped scallions.
